Moving Through Resistance: What Spirit Is Teaching Us Right Now
Lately, the messages coming through from Spirit have been incredibly clear: we are in a time of deep healing and letting go — and resistance is coming up for many of us.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, frustrated, overwhelmed, or strangely emotional for no clear reason… you are absolutely not alone. Spirit has been showing me that as a collective, we are releasing old patterns, old stories, and old versions of ourselves that no longer match the energies we’re stepping into.
And yes… that process can feel uncomfortable.
But here’s the beautiful part: Resistance is not a sign that you’re doing something wrong. It’s a sign that something new is trying to emerge.
What Spirit Wants Us to Understand About Resistance
The message I received was that resistance is an ancient survival mechanism — something the human mind created to keep us safe when life was unpredictable, scarce, or dangerous. It once protected our ancestors in times of hardship. It helped them survive.
But we’re not living in those times anymore.And our souls are calling us toward expansion, intuition, connection, and higher-frequency experiences.
Spirit shared that we’re now stepping into a new energetic timeline — not all at once, but over many lifetimes. Many people around the world are starting to sense these shifts, even if they don’t have the language to describe them. The “symptoms” often show up as:
• a desire for more meaning • sudden emotional waves • intuitive nudges • old fears resurfacing • heaviness in the body • feeling “stuck” while also wanting change

Where Resistance Shows Up
Spirit showed me that resistance often appears in the body first — tension in the chest, tightening in the stomach, heaviness in the shoulders, or restlessness in the mind. These sensations are actually the energetic body trying to communicate.
Resistance also shows up in thoughts like:
• “I can’t do this.” • “What if it doesn’t work out?” • “It’s easier to stay where I am.” • “Maybe later… I’ll deal with it another time.”
But underneath that fear is something sacred:a call to step into your next level of healing, purpose, and alignment.
When you start to see resistance not as an enemy, but as a messenger, everything begins to shift.
How to Open to Flow & Release Resistance
Practical ways to work with the energy, not against it
These are the tools I use myself and the ones Spirit has been emphasizing for us collectively:
1. Breathe Into the Sensation
Instead of pushing resistance away, breathe gently into the part of the body where it sits.Let it soften. Let it be witnessed.
2. Ground Into the Earth
Even 60 seconds helps.Feel your feet, picture roots, step outside, or place your hand on your heart and say, “I am safe.”
3. Drop Into the Heart (Not the Mind)
The mind resists.The heart receives.A quick hand-to-heart moment shifts your frequency.
4. Ask Spirit or Your Guides for Support
They cannot override your free will — but they can hold, soften, and guide when invited.Even saying, “Show me the way,” opens the channel.
5. Move Your Body
Energy that gets stuck needs movement.A walk, stretch, shake, or dance clears more than people realize.
6. Practice Micro-Surrenders
Small choices open big doors:• Letting go of one old thought• Saying yes to one intuitive nudge• Stopping one cycle of self-doubt
7. Gratitude as an Antidote
Gratitude instantly reduces resistance and shifts you into the flow of higher-frequency energy.
What to Do When You Find Yourself In Resistance
When resistance is active — when you’re spiraling, bracing, freezing, or fighting your next step — try these:
✔ 1. Pause, Don’t Push
Forcing only strengthens resistance.A soft pause resets the system.
✔ 2. Say Out Loud: “I’m noticing resistance.”
Awareness dissolves at least 30% of the charge immediately.
✔ 3. Locate It in the Body
Ask:Where is it? What does it feel like? What emotion is attached?This brings the experience out of the mind and into the body, where it can release.
✔ 4. Bring in Light
Visualize a soft golden or white light filling the area.Even 10 seconds helps.
✔ 5. Anchor into Support
Call in your guides, angels, ancestors, or higher self.You are not meant to do this alone.
✔ 6. Reframe the Moment
Try a gentle mindset shift:“This isn’t a blockage — this is something ready to be cleared.”
✔ 7. Stay Curious Instead of Critical
Curiosity opens.Judgment shuts down.
✔ 8. Offer Yourself Compassion
Resistance signals a nervous system that’s trying to protect you.Love softens what fear tightens.

Spirit’s message was so clear:
Resistance is not something to conquer — it’s something to understand, soften, and move through with awareness.
Every time resistance arises, it marks a threshold.A transition.A moment where your soul is saying:
“You’re ready for more.”
And when you meet it with presence, breath, grounding, and support, you create space for higher frequencies, synchronicities, and new possibilities to flow into your life.
